Two New Slots Revealed by RTG

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

Real Time Gaming (RTG), one of the world’s leading developers of gambling software, has revealed two new titles that slots enthusiast will soon be able to enjoy. It has been a while since the company brought any new games for gamblers to enjoy, but with The Three Stooges II update and brand new Beaver Builder, fans of the software company have a couple of new titles to enjoy.

Beaver Builder

Beaver Builder sets itself around the story of the popular creature that lives in rivers and likes to build dams. Owning the company Beaver Logging Co., the beaver in Beaver Builder is the wildcard symbol and offers gamers an attractive fixed payout maximum of 10,000 coins. Upon this jackpot being won, the beaver is seen to carrying cut logs, whilst the jackpot payout of 5,000 coins shows a cute animation of Mrs. Beaver with a pie. Popular animations and respective payouts are 3,000 coins for the log cabin and 2,000 coins for the bear. Meanwhile, other symbols include a saw, an acorn, a chest and a wild cat smoking a cigar. Lastly, the Beaver Logging Co. sign acts as the scatter symbol and offers 200 coins as a scatter payout.

Popular free spins bonuses in Beaver Builder

One particular feature that RTG is known for is its free spins, and the company has been careful to include two such options into their latest title. When three or more scatter symbols are seen on the reels, the Sign Feature is started, offering players the chance to use 10 free spins with double payouts. Throughout the round, the sign icons act as secondary wild symbols to the beaver, changing into the animal’s face after the reels have stopped spinning. When at least three sign or beaver symbols appear on the reels, an addition 10 free spins are provided.

In the second feature, Beaver Feature is initiated when three or more beaver icons are seen, providing the chance of more free spins. Players are provided with 12 free spins, the payouts of which are tripled if at least one beaver is used in resulting wining combinations. Sign symbols do not appear at all in the feature.

A chance at the progressive jackpots

RTG has a number of standard features which apply to most of its games, including Beaver Builder. This means that playing this new animal themed title offers the chance of randomly hitting the Major or Minor progressive jackpots, offering the chance to really win big.

The Three Stooges II

In addition to launching Beaver Builder, RTG has rethought its title The Three Stooges II. In the majority of cases, software developers convert three reel slots into five reel games when they do an upgrade to a title. However, RTG has flipped this trend on its head, taking the popular The Three Stooges II and creating a new three line game without losing any of the titles features.

Three progressive jackpots

One of the most attractive features of The Three Stooges II is that it incorporates not one, but three progressive jackpots. As is standard for RTG, two of these are the company’s Minor and Major progressive jackpots which can be triggered by any spin whilst playing. However, the Three Stooges II has its own jackpot which can be hit when players get three of the Stooges icons in a payline. Meanwhile, even two logos pay well, with payouts of 33 times the initial wager. In addition, the Stooges icon is also the wild symbol, with its appearance as part of a winning combination multiplying wins by three or nine depending whether one or two symbols are seen.

The Three Stooges II symbols

Regular players of The Three Stooges will note that many of the popular symbols return in this release, with a movie studio, movie clapper board and vintage limousine placed alongside icons which are traditionally found on three reel slot titles. Payouts are only achieved when all three symbols appear, in exception for the studio icon which will offer a payout when it appears just twice. In the same as the original version of the game, Moe, Larry and Curly also appear with various movie scenes being played when the characters appear as a mixture on the paylines.

The Three Stooges

Each of the three stooges who appear in the updated RTG game come with their own features, making it great entertainment to get Moe, Larry or Curly on the payline. Larry’s three symbols trigger the Larry’s Stash Feature where a ladder appears and features high multipliers and free spins for each step towards the top. The lowest rung has seven free spins and double payouts, whilst the highest has 20 free spins and multiplies wins by seven. As a dice is rolled five times, five steps on the six step ladder disappear, leading the player with the number of free spins and multipliers that they’ll receive. In addition, if a combination of stooges appears on the payline whilst enjoying the free spins bonus, an extra free spin is gained.

Moe’s Moolah Feature is similar to Larry’s Stash, but there are more lucrative payouts on the ladder rungs. The lowest number of free spins is 10, which comes with a triple multiplier. However, the top win offers 100 free spins and a multiplier of 10, making the bonus feature of huge importance for those who want to win big.

Finally, Curly’s Cashola Feature is triggered when three of the symbols for Curly appear on the payline. Double payouts are awarded on nine free spins, with a mix of stooges on any spin adding an extra free spin for players to take advantage of.

RTG prospects

Though RTG hasn’t brought out a new title in a while, the two new offerings will be greatly welcomed by gamblers. Fans of the original The Three Stooges II series will see that the update title has many attractions and can be a very lucrative game to play. Meanwhile, for those wanting something new and fresh, Beaver Builder is perfect.

Realtime Gaming Reveal New Monster Slot

Friday, October 14th, 2011

Realtime Gaming (RTG) have revealed a new slot for their casinos which has an entirely monster theme. Whilst debuting in October and in time for Halloween, the online slot is actually closer in theme to King Kong, with Monster Mayhem featuring two creatures called Crash and Smash who are busy tearing up a city.

Featured Monsters

Monster Mayhem features two main creatures called Crash and Smash who both have highly animated gestures when they make winning combinations. Each only appears on one reel of the slot, with Crash and Smash appearing on reel five and reel one respectively. Whilst the appearance of Smash signals the games re-spin feature, Crash offers a double line bet win every time that he appears.

Monster Mayhem Scatter Symbol

In addition to the two main figures, Monster Mayhem utilizes an image of a city as its scatter symbol. When three of more scatter icons appear on any of the reels, scatter payouts are offered with animations such as a chopper circling the city skyline and flames billowing out of buildings to suggest the chaos that the two monsters are creating.

Thematic Symbols

All of the symbols used in RTG’s Monster Mayhem are highly animated, offering gamblers a very engaging game to play. A few symbols offer large and fixed jackpots, including a frightened lady who gives 1,250 coins and a monster footprint which gives 2,500 coins. Other symbols include a smashed car, fire hydrant, search light, camera, newspaper, policeman and helicopter.

Monster Mayhem Feature Re-Spin

One of the most attractive features of Monster Mayhem is the re-spin which offers gamblers up to ten free spins. When Crash and Smash appear together on their respective reels the re-spins are offered. At this point Crash and Smash are held in place whilst the middle three reels are spun, with each consecutive spin having its win multiplied by the re-spin round it’s on. Meanwhile, Smash pays more for every re-spin, whilst gaining the lady or footprint symbol gives additional bonuses. And with gamblers looking for new titles to explore, Monster Mayhem could prove an attractive and lucrative new slot game to play.

Why Good Casino Software Is Crucial

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

The next time you’re perusing online casinos and you find one you like, take a look at who provides the site’s software. Time and time again you’ll see the same names – Cryptologic, Microgaming, Playtech, RTG – at all the top sites. While a handful of large casino and poker room networks have developed their own proprietary software, most gambling sites turn to these top developers when they want the very best. Good software is important to them, and it should be to you too. If a software package is flawed in any way, then the whole casino (and its members) suffer.  Here’s why:

Look and Feel

Your entire online casino experience relies on the quality of the software that supports your chosen site. Site layout is about the only important design feature that doesn’t directly rely on the software. A lesser package simply can’t support the sleek graphics and eye-popping animations that today’s discerning online players have come to expect. When you sit at a fantastically realized online game table, thank the software!

Speed

When you play at a live casino, the dice never stop mid-air and the slot reels never stop mid-spin. In order for an online casino to truly recreate the excitement of live gambling they must have the speed necessary to offer a real-time gaming experience. This is yet another feature that demands a fast, bug-free software platform.

Security

Good software is about more than flashy graphics and high-speed gameplay. Good software not only entertains players – it protects them. While the most respectable online casinos go the extra mile for their guests by paying for additional security measures, the base layer of a site’s safety level is the built-in encryption and protection offered by their primary software.

Fairness

It’s easy to get distracted by all the bells and whistles that online casinos offer, but at the end of the day the only thing a serious player is looking at is their bottom line. Though most casino games are chance-based, in an online casino even chance must be programmed. This is done via randomization software which is designed to mimic real odds. That said, a casino can alter those odds as they see fit to give themselves a more appealing profit margin. What makes casino software truly great is what goes on behind the curtain; in other words, a fancy casino may bring the players in, but a generous casino will keep them.

To summarize, good software not only helps online casinos to look great and play well, but it also helps them to create and maintain a high standard of security and fairness.

RealTime Gaming Rallies with New Slots and Better Sites

Friday, April 16th, 2010

Ask any honest online casino reviewer to name the top three casino software providers and RealTime Gaming will inevitably be at the top of every list. Why then doesn’t the company get the same credit as other reputable software designers like Playtech and Microgaming? RTG’s reputation has taken several big hits over the last few years thanks in part to its professional affiliation with some of the most notorious casinos in the industry.

RTG itself has a squeaky clean legal history dating back to 1998, and its innovative and intuitive casino software has been impressing players and professionals alike for just as long. And yet for all its technical smarts RTG has had bad luck in choosing its business partners. RTG has provided the software for such infamous names as Crystal Palace Casino, Extreme Casino, Bet Royal and Club Player, among others. Each of these casinos has earned a bad name for their lack of customer support, non-payment of winnings and refusal to honor self-blocks from compulsive gamblers. Such scandals rocked the gambling industry and left a bad taste in  former RTG fans’ mouths despite the fact that the software company was not directly involved.

Fast forward a few years and RealTime Gaming is finally regaining its footing in the competitive online casino industry. Their association with critically acclaimed sites like Rushmore Casino and Cherry Red has helped to resuscitate the company’s hard-earned and well-deserved reputation as one of the best and brightest stars on the casino software development scene.

As further proof of their commitment to a solid future, RTG is rolling out several new game titles in 2010. Most recently the company announced two new slots titles that are scheduled to be released later this month. RealTime Gaming has long been lauded for its exceptionally realistic graphics and seamless gameplay. Their newest offerings – Hockey Hero and Lucky Last – are sure to carry on that tradition of excellence. (We’ve seen the stills and both games are as good or better than the real thing!)

Despite a few unexpected setbacks, RealTime Gaming is back on track. If you’ve been missing their exceptional software but have been afraid to play at some of their questionable partner sites, then maybe now’s the time to give them a second chance while getting a first glimpse at what are sure to be some awe-inspiring new slots.

RTG Launches New Slots and Casinos Pay out $1.26 Million

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Real Time Gaming, a leading provider of online casino gaming software, recently introduced a new video slot to its fast growing portfolio of casino games.  Known as the Mayan Queen, this bonus slot is the newest progressive jackpot game to hit the virtual casino market.  Though only available for a short time, this one already looks as if it could be a very profitable game.

When it comes to progressive games with twenty or more reels, hitting the max bet on the reels needed to qualify for the full jackpot can be a stern challenge.  The same holds true for the Mayan Queen video slots game.  RTG already has a vast selection of online slots that payout large winnings quite frequently.  Although your bankroll can diminish rather quickly attempting to win the progressive jackpot, it is essentially the same scenario when playing slots at online casinos powered by Cryptologic, Micrograming and Playtech, each of which no longer accept players from the United States.  And with Real Time Gaming possessing a huge network of more than one hundred casinos that are a big hit among American players, it also has a number of jackpots that consistently exceed and payout more than $1 million.

This past weekend, RTG casinos aided in building up the progressive video slot for Aztec Millions and helped produce the latest millionaire player at online casino gambling.  The jackpot, which required an additional $1 wager to participate, stopped at $1.26 million for a single player who is likely in the process of cashing a huge check as we speak.  Since the jackpot was spread out across such a wide network, it is still undetermined which casino this very lucky player games at.  We are banking that is one of the many RTG casinos deemed as the best of the best by the online gambling industry.

At the time of this writing, there are still two RTG progressive jackpots up for grabs worth more than $1 million.  Its Jackpot Pinatas has climbed to $1.4 million while both Mid-Life Crises and Shopping Spree combine for more than $1 million collectively.  As for Mayan Queen, RTG’s new video slots game maxes out at $150,000 in addition to the random progressive pot players can go after.   The game’s presentation is that of a jungle theme that portrays the Mayan culture and society.  The Emerald, which represents the scatter symbol, triggers a feature that awards a player with six free spins.  Also a multiplier, this symbol can award the player up to 500 times their original bet.  Players can also increase their winnings through a free spin bonus mode when the wild symbol, the Mayan Queen, is expanded over each payline of the third reel.

Mayan Queen was officially launched on September 16 and is currently available for play at all RTG online casino licensees.  The game is available in a Flash or downloadable version so give it spin and perhaps you could be the next lucky millionaire.

Online Casino Software Provider Review: Rival Gaming

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Based on the island of Cyprus, Rival Gaming is a company established by Black Chip Ltd.  Though just launched in 2006, it has already made a name for itself as one of the top software providers in the online gambling industry.  In fact, its software solutions power some of the most popular internet casinos in the world, many of which accept players from the U.S.  Aside from the superior graphics of its extensive catalog of games, Rival Gaming offers online casino management through a comprehensive back-end interface, which addresses issues such as reporting, affiliate management and security.  Well know for its series of interactive slots, Rival Gaming has an excellent reputation in the industry with quality games that outperform many of the other online casino software developers on the market.

Gaming Options

One of the best things about Rival is the nice selection of casino games it gives the player to choose from.  It offers blackjack in single and multi-hand varieties as well both American and European roulette.  Its portfolio also includes a number of online casino poker and video poker variations.  Some of its other games are craps, keno and baccarat along with less known games like Red Dog, Let it Ride and Casino War.  Rival receives high scores over the competition with the quality production of its slots games, which are rich in audiovisuals and deliver a thrilling gaming experience to the player.  These games are categorized in to various types that include three-reel slots, five-reel slots, progressive slots and iSlots.  Its most popular variant, the iSlots (interactive slots), are exclusive and only available at online casinos powered by Rival Gaming.  Each I-slot tells a different story, taking you through a unique adventure with video clips and skill-based bonus rounds.  Your performance in the bonus rounds ultimately determines the course of the overall game.

Online Gambling Features

Another rival advantage is that its downloadable software is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.  This is a big plus when considering that most software providers only cater to Windows users.  In addition, the company implements a great variety of features into its software to produce some of the most user-friendly online gaming applications around.  These features consist of tools like real-time player history, easy to use promotions, cash interfaces and a unique VIP system.  Unlike much of the competition, Rival Gaming platforms allow players to bet with real money, or play just for fun.

What’s to Like About Rival Gaming

click here to see most Popular Pages

There are many benefits to playing at Rival Gaming casinos.  The most notable are its feature-rich, audiovisual slots and exclusive iSlots.  Next comes the fact that many casinos running the platform accept U.S. players.  Last but not least, it is one of few companies that develops its software to support both Windows and Mac computers.

What’s Not to Like About Rival Gaming

There are also a few drawbacks to Rival gaming.  First, it is lacking in variety when it comes to blackjack and video poker.  And while it does have a nice selection of games, the number is far less in comparison to competitors such as Microgaming and RTG.
