LV Air is a new chartered plane service that features direct flights from New York to Las Vegas with incredible perks. The operator plans to fly four nonstop flights per day between John F. Kennedy International Airport and McCarran International Airport beginning as early as August 2011. If this airline is successful, this could significantly increase the number of individuals flying from New York by 50 percent per day.
Sean Smith, LV Air’s top executive, states the company will fly four wide-bodied 767 jets and contract the seats with casinos around Las Vegas. The primary goal for this innovative idea is to fill Las Vegas hotel room’s vacationers, players and conventioneers by creating a straight line from the customer to the casino floor.
First-class cabins are planned to be sponsored by different casinos and feature their décor, uniforms, meals, carpet and other in-flight accessories. Another interesting service is straight-to-room baggage service in which once the passenger checks their bags in New York, they will not seem them again until the bags appear in their hotel room, waiting for them.
Also, when passengers check-in to their flight, they are concurrently checking in to their hotel room in Las Vegas. This includes room keys so the passenger does not have to wait in line at their hotel. To add the icing to the cake, onboard safety instructions will be recorded and displayed as a holographic image of Las Vegas celebrities. These include iconic celebrities that can be living or dead.

LV Air is the Cadillac of flights. Unfortunately to have this type of service, you will pay a pretty penny. However, the hassles saved and experience offered may be beneficial if you can afford the price tag. Since the Northeastern section of the United States is teeming with wealthy individuals searching for a comfortable and luxurious airline to bring them to Sin City, New York is an excellent place to start.
If this idea is successful, the company may be able to increase their flight locations to other major cities in wealthy areas. Although this is a niche marketplace, the idea could greatly expand to a major airline company for the rich.
